Shoppers - Gravenhurst

Size: 17,500 sq. ft | Duration: 26 weeks

This flagship location had to be built on undulating Canadian shield rock, which required extensive blasting in certain areas of the site to accommodate site plan features. Wind and weather, along with a condensed schedule provided multiple challenges. Most trades were brought up from the GTA in order to keep the schedule moving. Building envelope and finish work were completed on time and on budget.

• Complete site excavation with all new building/site services. Extensive rock blasting required due to site topography.
• Complete building superstructure including all architectural finishes, base building equipment, shipping and receiving, curbs, sidewalks, and landscape.
• Interior buildout and finishes including main entrance vestibule, all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing and all interior architectural finishes.

Shoppers - Conlin

Size: 18,000 sq. ft | Duration: 24 weeks

This was a busy site with multiple projects happening in the same area, and on the same site. This flagship Shoppers branch featured a condensed schedule and extensive site work and services that had to be completed before the erection of the building. Once complete, building was fast tracked, including the basic interior fit out to make ready for store fixturing. Project was completed on time and on budget.
